Perfect Health, Simplified

Posted on Jan 1st, 2009 by jsab0 : Observer jsab0
These are the fundamental health truths that must be understood:

1. The human body/mind is a community of trillions of individually living cells.

2. Those cells are literally made of natural fats, proteins, sugars, and cholesterol.

3. Vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, etc. are the necessary tools required for proper cellular functioning.

4. Our cells are at all times, 24/7, in a state of repair, regeneration, rebuilding, and healing.

5. The body is an incredibly efficient self-healing mechanism, when honored as such.

6. Physical, emotional, and energetic stress on the cells is what prevents the body from healing.

7. All degenerative diseases are the result of physical, emotional, or energetic stress on the cells of the body.

When you fully grasp all of these points it becomes very apparent that organic nutrition and positive peaceful emotions/attitudes/opinions/beliefs/thoughts (the placebo effect) are the treatment and cure for virtually all degenerative health problems, ailments, and diseases, of the body and mind, including cancer, diabetes, psoriasis, eczema, acne, schizophrenia, depression, headaches, aches & pains, allergies, vision loss, lyme disease, arthritis, and so on. If we simply stop indulging in negatives, and adopt positives instead, the body heals itself. Reversing degenerative diseases and health issues, or staying healthy, is no more complicated than that.

But the trillion dollar pharmaceutical industry and food companies don't want you to know that. And legally, nobody is allowed to use the word "cure" unless it refers to a pharmaceutical drug.

The body is in a constant state of regeneration (healing), but its ability to do that more effectively, efficiently, and thoroughly, depends upon us letting go of the stressful negatives in our lifestyle. If the source of health issues is removed, the body can then heal itself because the human body is a self-healing mechanism. No matter the health problem, in order to heal, negatives must be let go of by focusing on positives instead. Health is the body's natural state when the cells aren't subjected to emotional, physical, or energetic stress.

A clean natural diet free of unnatural substances like artificial sweeteners, refined salt, food colorings, dyes, plastics, heavy metals, pesticides, herbicides, highly processed, modified, damaged, and altered foods, will provide amazing all-encompassing health improvements. Forget about the "low fat", "low cholesterol", calorie counting diets. Ignore the fads. Natural organic nutrition has been very successful at supporting life for millions of years.

And above all else, never underestimate the power of the mind. That which is held in mind, manifests physically. What we focus on, we get/receive/become. "Stop fighting disease, embrace health."

Sounds Profound

Posted on Jan 7th, 2009 by jsab0 : Observer jsab0
I came across some highly spiritual/meditative music a couple of months ago, and wanted to share it with everybody. Something this wonderful just can't be kept to myself! :) I enjoy the CD so much that I went onto Amazon.com and wrote a review for it.

Instead of once again writing a description of the CD and music, I'll just copy my Amazon review into this blog post…

Zen hip-hop, blessed beats, rapturous rhymes, beatific beats, esoteric lyricism, silent music, yogic rap, spiritual spittin'... None of these labels really do Mt. Sinai's music justice, and the CD title of "Beyond Words" is truly fitting (in more ways than one).

If you never thought rap or hip-hop could be meditative, or highly spiritual, you're in for a huge surprise. For most people on the spiritual path, new-age & spiritual music tends to be used as background music for meditation, but while listening to Beyond Words you'll quickly realize that the music IS the meditation. Because the lyrics come out in rap form, they're fast, and your mind/consciousness will be 100% focused on them. Of course, this would be meaningless, and even deleterious, if the lyrics were of a negative nature, but Mt. Sinai has spent 15 years studying and practicing various spiritual teachings, ranging from Buddhism/Zen, to nonduality, to Hinduism, to Christianity, to Freemasonry, to Greek philosophy, to "the law of attraction", and the music is a reflection of that.

The moment the music is turned on, your mind will be drawn in and effortlessly focused (like Buddhism teaches) on the level of consciousness/energy from which the music springs (which is Nothingness, yet Allness). This is music for silencing the mind, and leaving oneself behind.

If you're into spirituality, and you've never liked rap before, you'll almost certainly enjoy this album anyway, because it's the essence from which the form arises, not the form itself, that truly matters.

From a spiritual point of view, this CD can't be recommended highly enough. As I write this though, a hardcopy of the actual CD isn't available through Amazon.com, you can only download the MP3's (and only if you live in the U.S.). If you live outside the U.S. like I do, you can find Mt. Sinai on MySpace and purchase the CD that way.

And while we're on the topic of music, just a few days ago I added an Amazon aStore to my website, recommending a huge list of my favorite powerfully uplifting spiritual music. From classical, to Hindu, to Buddhist, to Sufi, to Christian, to chant, to opera, to classic rock, to reggae, to folk, to gospel, to new age, to bamboo flute, to jazz, to fusion, to adult contemporary. There's a wide range of genres in my personal music collection, and whatever your tastes might be, you're bound to find something new to bring even more joy and peace into your life.

Extreme Forgiveness & Acceptance for Enlightenment

ACIM - Extreme Forgiveness & Acceptance for Enlightenment

Forgiveness is an aspect of acceptance/love/peace/truth.
Resentment is an aspect of hatred/emotionalism/negativity/falsehood.

Forgiveness brings utter peace and serenity of mind.
Resentment brings inner turmoil and suffering.

Which do you choose? And when? And how often?
It's totally up to you.

Acceptance/forgiveness means choosing to see the absolute perfection and beauty in everything.
Everything/everyone is currently operating at it's own level of awareness and/or evolution.
Everyone/everything is what it is right now because that's what it needs to learn, or un-learn.
People are what they are, and make mistakes, beause they really don't know otherwise (or they don't want to know otherwise).
If they REALLY knew otherwise, they would ALREADY be otherwise.

If there's full blown radical forgiveness/acceptance of absolutely everything, then...
there's nothing to judge,
there's nothing to discriminate against,
there's nothing to condemn,
there's nothing to criticize,
there's nothing to label,
there's nothing to describe,
there's nothing to define,
there's nothing to interpret,
there's nothing to translate,
there's nothing to suppose,
there's nothing to explain,
there's nothing to say,
there's nothing to talk about,
there's nothing to expound upon,
there's nothing to express an opinion about,
there's no thing to make into something,
there's nothing to express a belief about,
there's nothing to emotionalize about,
there's nothing to worry about,
there's nothing to fear,
there's nothing to rationalize,
there's nothing to determine,
there's nothing to hypothesize,
there's nothing to complicate,
there's nothing to solve,
there's nothing to manipulate,
there's nothing to get confused about,
there's nothing to distort,
there's nothing to change,
there's nothing to force,
there's nothing to set right,
there's nothing to fix,
there's nothing to resolve,
there's nothing to alter,
there's nothing to modify,
there's nothing to seek,
there's nothing to search for,
there's nothing to learn,
there's nothing to get,
there's nothing to lose,
there's nothing to gain,
there's nothing to do,
there's nothing to want,
there's nothing to desire,
there's nothing to obtain,
there's nothing to intellectualize,
there's nothing to conceptualize,
there's nothing to verbalize,
there's nothing to communicate,
there's nothing to babble on about,
there's nothing to say,
there's nothing to declare,
there's nothing to communicate,
there's nothing to articulate,
there's nothing to perceive,
and there's nothing to think about at all.

Man, talk about peace of mind.
That's absolute bliss.

Everything just IS, nothing more.
Existence just Is. Reality just Is. Life just Is.
Anything else is a distortion of Reality/Truth.

Zen Biology Lesson for Enlightenment

Zen Biology Lesson for Enlightenment

The heart pumps blood all by itself without you doing it.
The lungs breathe air all by themselves without you doing it.
The brain associates concepts with other concepts all by itself.

The mind is thinking (randomly babbling) completely on its own.

Let's look inside for just a brief minute...
How long can you keep the mind completely silent?
If you try to stop thinking, it just starts right back up again.
Words, verbalization, thoughts, thinking, and emotionalism are completely automatic.
You can't stop it by controlling it, but you can (eventually) stop it by non-judgmentally watching it.
The brain works completely by itself.
It has nothing to do with "you" doing it.
This means that you are not the doer of deeds, nor the thinker of thoughts.
The mind/body is an "it", not a "me".

The brain's thoughts and body's actions are just the result of cells doing work.

We are not the physical body/mind and its senses.
We are not the mind and its automatic rambling thoughts.

We are the still, conceptless, silent Awareness that is aware of them.
We are the Awareness that is watching the body/mind's automatic functioning.
We are the Silent Formless Observer.
We are the Life/Consciousness/Awareness that is simply aware of Itself as existing.

We have mistakenly identified ourselves as being the physical mind/body.
We have mistakenly identified ourselves with form.
It was an erroneous belief all along.

The real "you", the Silent Aware Mind, is not confined to a brain, or anything else.
It's Infinitely Everything beyond physicality.
It's the (formless) Allness of Existence.
It's No-Thing, yet Infinitely Everything.

But thinking about that won't help you realize/experience that.
You have to stop identifying with thoughts altogether to realize that.
